This online portfolio incorporates both my personal and commercial work. I have a broad range of practice, from interiors, still life, fashion to portraiture, alongside personal work that is inspired by the poetic experience of the everyday.

My editorial work has appeared in publications such as World of Interiors, 8A, Selvedge, Creative Review, The Saturday Independent Magazine, Elle Decoration, The Saturday Telegraph Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, Exit and House & Garden. Recent clients include Megan Park, Clothkits and Quadrille Publishing.

I have exhibited work in London, Barcelona and Brighton and have received support from the Arts Council England.

Regarding my personal work, in Details (2003) I am concerned with an awareness of the promise and potential of the universe, seen in the everyday. The egg (2005), focuses on the simplest of objects and its particular resonances. In Folds, and The Nicholson Archive (ongoing) my interest lies in the ritual associated with the objects (respectively white linens and a collection of spoons) used within the work, such as laying of tables, making of beds, ceremony and rites of passage. The subject in both bodies of work, is concerned with the domestic, the ordinary and the beauty to be found there.

I have lived in Paris and Brighton, where I did a degree in Photography. I now live and work in London. If you’d like any further information about any work, please do email me.
